Daily News Indonesia – The Provincial Government of Jakarta made a summary of the results of the 2021 Provincial Government performance, under the leadership of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria.
The Governor’s Team for The Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) head, Ms.Tatak Ujiyati summarizes the results of the performance of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan so far on the performance it had achieved.
One of Anies Baswedan’s achievements summarized by Tatak is the ‘Jakarta Friendly Cycling.’
The Provincial Government of DKI has built a bike path along 97.77 km. The construction of this bike path is part of Jakarta’s cycling-friendly program.
According to Ms. Tatak, a cycling-friendly program created by Anies to accommodate the high interest of cycling citizens, while making bicycles as a means of transportation when they leave for work.
The provision of bike path facilities throughout the Jakarta area shows the effort and consistency of the Jakarta Provincial Government in encouraging people to use bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of transportation.
“Glorifying environmentally friendly transportation. Makes 97.77 km of bike lanes, some of which are protected lanes. Collaborating with the private sector provides bicycle rental facilities and bike parking.
Anies changes the face of Jakarta to be more human,” Tatak said on the twitter account of @tatakujiyati quoted by KBA News, in Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Not only bicycles, but the Provincial Government of Jakarta also collaborates with the Central Government for the realization of public transportation integration in Jakarta. One of them is the arrangement of Tebet Station, Palmerah Station, Gondangdia Station, City Station, Tanah Abang Station, and Manggarai Station.
Of the six stations that have been completed are Tebet Station in South Jakarta, Manggarai Station in Central Jakarta, and Palmerah Station in West Jakarta.
According to her, transportation in Jakarta previously worked individually. But Jakarta Governor encourages the collaboration of various stakeholders to create transportation integration so as to make it easier and comfortable for users public transportation.
“Public transportation facilities were overhauled for the convenience, comfort and safety of citizens. Remember the CSW intersection? It was the result of the collaboration of PT Transportasi Jakarta and PT MRT at the encouragement of the Governor, who initially worked alone. In fact, his government actively invites the collaboration of the Central Government to fix the Electric Railway (KRL) stations,” he wrote.
Caring for historic object
Ms. Tatak also explained that the Jakarta Provincial Government has always been committed to caring for historical objects in Jakarta. According to her, it is done so as not to be eroded by the times.
The Provincial Government of Jakarta has carried out builders and revitalizations that start from the national heroes residence, meeting hall, to houses of worship to remain ready to be used by the next generation.
“The buildings of historic places of worship are revitalized while maintaining the rules of preservation of cultural heritage objects. Among them, Jami al-Mansur mosque built in 1717area in Cikini , the famous Immanuel Church built in 1834, and Masjid Luar Batang built in the 18th century in North Jakarta. We don’t forget history,” she said.
Then the Provincial Government of DKI also revitalized the pedestrian bridge (JPO) in Jakarta. Currently a project being focused is JPO Phinisi on Jalan Sudirman, Central Jakarta. She also reported that the progress of JPO Karet-Sudirman has entered 95 percent.
“Absolutely beautiful, Thumbs up. The progress of JPO Karet Sudirman has entered 95 percent, Wah…. Almost complete JPO Karet Sudirman. Thank you Mr. @aniesbaswedan @DKIJakarta #WajahBaruJakarta #Sudirman #JPOPinisi,”@kebijakananies, a Twitter account wrote.
Various communities responded to the development of the JPO, one of which was @Albantany16 who questioned the beauty of Jakarta as abroad.
“This is Jakarta??? Not Singapore?Wow soooo coool,” @Albantany16 commented.
But there are netizens who question why the construction of JPO today in Jakarta has no roof.
“Min… Why is the JPO now on the roof, huh? If it rains too, yes,” asked @TalisyahWin.
Then one of the netizens responded to the question, according to him there was no roof in JPO so that the beauty of the city of Jakarta is visible.
“Help to answer, so that the view of The City of Jakarta can be seen more freely. After all, the function of JPO as a crossing point, not shelter,” he replied. (kba)
