He believes that 2022 will be a momentum for revival in the health, economic, social and cultural fields.
According to him, with the belief that what has been done so far, will be able to be a provision to face 2022 and beyond so that Jakarta continues to be better

According to the former Rector of Paramadina University the impact is clear, it would spread on the economic, social and cultural revival in Jakarta.
“We can get through; this all can not be separated from the spirit of collaboration. All parties were involved, all intervened. This makes us more optimistic going into 2022,” he explained.
“Almost 2 years we have all been fighting face to face against the Covid-19 pandemic. Times of struggle, times that drain our energy and in many ways we also have to lose our brothers, our friends and neighbors,” said Anies.
With the various efforts that have been made, he believes that Jakarta will soon emerge from the pandemic this year.
Anies ensured that the recently controlled pandemic situation could support efforts to restore the economy of the people in the capital.
This momentum can be maintained because the achievement of vaccination in DKI Jakarta has reached 125 percent. Anies said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is currently focusing on achieving vaccination achievements for children aged 5 to 11 years.

As previously reported, Bank Indonesia (BI) estimates that DKI Jakarta’s economy will experience high growth in 2022.
Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo conveyed that DKI Jakarta’s economic growth will reach the range of 3.5 to 4.3 percent this year and will increase in the range of 5.3 to 6.1 percent in 2022.
“Along with the improvement in the world and national economies, the provision of Covid-19 vaccinations, and the continued development of infrastructure in Jakarta, the Jakarta economy is expected to improve, growing in the range of 3.5 to 4.3 percent in 2021 and 5.3 to 6.1 percent. in 2022,” Perry said in his presentation in a webinar, in the last week of the year 2021.
Perry said that booster vaccines and the achievement of herd immunity would be a factor in boosting economic growth next year, including in Jakarta, which is the economic and financial center in Indonesia. In the third quarter of 2021, Jakarta’s economy recorded a positive growth of 2.43 percent on an annual basis, in the midst of continuing challenges to suppress the transmission of Covid-19. (kba)
